Yeah, yeah, Avigail had to admit that she looked pretty dumb. She sat next to the lake, completely dry, and completely alone. One may not have thought that this was a very bad thing, but here in Lohunt, it was considered really odd not to have a friend or a lover nearby. Avigail, of course, didn't seem to fit into the equasion. She didn't have any friends, and her experiance with boys was the same as her experiance with flying pigs. None.
So, as she sat there with her legs spread wide and fiery hair falling down over her shoulders, she let out a small sigh and pouted. Why had she decided to ditch her social life? Sure, it hadn't been very big to begin with, but that didn't mean she didn't want one. She had thought it was for the best, but now she regreted it deeply.

Katy walked down to the lake. She'd left Danny asleep on the sofa and wanted some time to breathe, yeah sure, she loved being around him, but he still seemed to be quite odd with her after the new years eve events. She just wanted the old Danny back and how they were before it all happened. She sighed as she sat on the edge, she saw a young girl who'd she'd never seen around before. She smiled over to her and sat down.
She couldn't help but looking at the girl, she stuck out from the people around here. Her long fiery hair falling around her shoulders is what kept attracting Katy to look at her. Hello. She smiled at her before casting her eye over the lake.

Avigail had thought she was all alone at the lake. Not many people approached her; she wasn't all that interesting. She didn't have anything particularily interesting to say or talk about. Obviously this girl didn't know that, for she approached her and said hello. Avi smiled anyway; it wasn't every day you get to meet someone new.
"Hi," she said, smiling up at the young woman, who was now gazing at the water. She didn't have much experiance, but she was pretty sure she knew how to introduce herself. "I'm Avigail. You are?"

Katy looked over at the young girl as she replied, taking in all her features and smiled at her. Nice to meet you Avigail. I'm Katy. She stood and sat next to the girl, outstrecthing her hand as a way to cement their greeting. She cast her eye once again looking over the lake.
Her thoughts soon turned to Danny as she thought about him asleep on the sofa, feeling bad for just leaving him there, but she needed some time to think. What brings you down here, on this chilly day. She looked back at the young girl, shaking her thoughts from her mind.

Things were going well, which surprised Avigail. She wasn't used to this. It was a good first time. She hadn't seem to have bored this girl to tears yet. Or just made herself seem weird.
"Nice to meet ya," she said, looking back at the water. It was calm, though it rippled occasionally when a leaf fell or a duck came. The wind made the trees wave a bit, and made Avi's hair flutter a bit. She had never really been able to tame her brilliant colored hair. She had got it from her mother, who had the same.
"Eh... Just to think. Not that there's much to think about. I'm not a very busy person, unlike most people in this town. Everyone seems to be in love, which totally sucks because I've never had much luck with relationships," she said, then noticed that this girl might think she was babbling, so she stopped, grinning sheepishly. She had just met Katy, and wanted to make a good impression.

Katy listened intently to the girl, though did not look directly at her, but across the lake where she saw a happy couple walking around, giggling and laughing. That's what she wanted, from her and Danny of course, but she wasn't sure if it was ever going to happen. She couldn't help but just sigh as she watching them continuously. She shook her head once more and looked back at Avigail.
She giggled at the fact that Avigail had pointed out about this place. I know everyone seems to be getting together with someone, it's like it's some sort of virus or something that is just in the air. She shrugged, she didn't really know, the only thing she knew was that she had become apart of this place, and it held memories for her. Ones that she could look back on and laugh about in time to come. Things get so complicated sometimes though. She said out loud, not really meaning to, just forgetting that she had company. She gazed out over the lake again, watching as it changing as the wind blew. She watched the ducks, diving under neath the surface and sighed once more.
