» It's been two years since Sarah Williams got through the labyrinth and saved her baby brother Toby from the Goblin King. Two peaceful, happy years.
At least, for Sarah and Toby, that is.
Jareth, the Goblin King has not been happy. Heartbroken from losing the young girl that he'd fallen in love with on that fateful day, the labyrinth has not been a pleasant place to live (not that it ever really was). He is meaner and stricter than ever before and all of the creatures and inhabitants are depressed. Jareth has been making everyone's lives absolutely miserable.
Recently, Jareth has been thinking. He's been turning an idea over and over in his mind. Finally, one stormy night, he decided to put his plan in action. Taking twenty of his crystals, Jareth released them to random places in the human world. Whoever found and touched the crystal first was instantly transported into the labyrinth. Things would be a little different this time, however. Jareth announced to the twenty humans that whoever reached center of the labyrinth first would get out of here alive. The remaining nineteen would be turned into goblins to live in the labyrinth forever.
This sent everyone into a panic. Alliances were formed only for betrayal to take place seeing as how only one person can get out of the labyrinth. Violence even ensued, people beginning to beat up each other and steal from each other in hopes of being the sole winner of their freedom.
What Jareth did not know was that Sarah Williams herself was one of the people to touch a crystal. She was angry, finding out that she must navigate the labyrinth once more, and this time for her own freedom instead of Toby's. When Jareth realizes that Sarah is within the labyrinth walls once more, how will he react?
When people began to realize that Sarah had been through the labyrinth once before, they wanted her on their side. What they do not know is the labyrinth changes. Surprises are around every corner and there are many creatures serving Jareth that will attempt to make their journey harder.
Who will be freed? Or will the humans figure out some way to all get back to the world they love and had taken for granted?
