Josh shook his head. no definitely not .. I'm with you because I love you. The baby is something different... I feel as though he or she strengthens our bond, but that's not the reason why I'm with you. he replied a little shocked by her question.

Josh ran his fingers up and down her knuckles as he thought about why Melissa would ask him such a shocking question. Worried about their relationship he felt himself wrap his arm around his stomach as a form of protection.

I promise. he said feeling tears stinging his eyes. If you think I proposed because of the baby i didn't I had been thinking about proposing for a long time. I really love you Milly. When I first met you i felt something for you. My heart seemed to stop and then when you spoke to me it thudded so hard it was hard to catch my breath. I promise I am not with you because of the baby.
