Emma walked into her new apartment. It wasn't much but it was what she could afford at the moment. She really needed a job or something. At least her brother was sending some money along with the rest of her stuff. Emma sighed and looked around as she shut the door. She put her bags down by the couch and sat down. Why had all of this gotten so screwed up. After she'd left her parents it'd been so good then this had to happen. She put a hand on her stomach and sighed, she felt a little nauseous at the moment. She took a deep breathe before she stood back up. She needed to do something other then sit here, she just didn't know what.

Emma heard someone knock on the door. She looked up from the couch and wondered who it could be. She got up then and walked over, opening the door to see a girl there she didn't know. "Hello?" She said smiling slightly at her.

Miyu smiled. "Hi Names Miyu and Welcome to the neighborhood if you call it i guess =.=',"Miyu greeted the girl.She gently held out the cupcakes.
"Um..these are for you..."Miyu told her.She watched the girl intently while she waited for the girls reply.

Emma smiled slightly back. She wasn't used to new people and she didn't really like small talk, she wasn't great at it. It could turn out bad for her, like it did most of the time. "Hi. I'm Emma." She said after what was probably too long of a pause. "Thanks." She said then. She watched as the girl held out the cupcakes. She wasn't sure if she should take them or not but she reached for them then. "Oh thanks. That's so thoughtful." She said smiling at her then.

"Your welcome,mhm,so whatcha doing?"Miyu replied.She put her hands in her pockets and rocked back and forth on her heels.She quietly looked past emma's shoulder and saw the tv on.

Emma wasn't sure what to say. She didn't really like small talk, or talking much at all. She wasn't used to trusting people, it usually turned out bad when she did. "Ummm....reading right now actually." She said telling the truth since that had been what she'd been doing at the time. She loved to read and get lost in the book and another world where she wasn't herself.
