Her mother Keyonai Yamata was born in a little village in China, but later moved to the US. Her father Mihkail Braska was a navy guy and moved around a lot. She has a sister who is seven years older than her named Charity but her sister lives on the other side of a country and the two don't really get along much.
Personality –
When she first meets people she can be very shy and uncertain of her self, unless insulted... then she can have quiet the mouth on her. Once she gets to know people she can be kinda loud and loves to talk about the latest in fashion. She has a soft voice, with a light accent unless really ticked off. When she gets mad she often speaks in Mandarin using slang terms and things not spoken in proper Mandarin.
Love History –
She's had a few silly boyfriends when she was younger, but nothing too serious. It wasn't until later that she fell into the wrong crowd when she was about 16, and met a young Japanese boy named Raven Takeshi. The two of them got into a lot of trouble, and started racing motorcycles. At first it was the thrill she loved more, the feeling of clinging to Raven as they raced, or of even being put up as the prize for the winner in races, but of course only for kissing. Raven respected the one thing about Lien that she wanted most and that was to be a virgin till she was at least 18. It was when she was almost 17 that she got a call from one of her best friends... Raven had gotten into an accident and died.
She shut down for the first few weeks, stayed in her room and cried till she could cry no more. Her mother tried to cheer her up but it seemed impossible. So her mother gave up and sent her to live with her father out in Lohunt. She took homeschool, buried herself in classes to keep from thinking and after a year... she graduated right on time. But she still thinks of Raven all the time, and even wears the biker jacket he was going to give her for her 17th birthday. She had found it wrapped up in his room after he had died.
History –
Lien's mother was a bit verbally abusive and she always feels judged by her. Lien was the girly type, loved fashion and making beautiful clothing but her mother always told her she was too girly, or often called her a mistake. This things are constantly in the back of her mind, making her question if she's good enough for love.
