History – Growing up, Luke was always treated differently by his father. His father seemed to hate him and love his sisters. Luke was jealous of his sisters as they had there fathers attention all of the time. Luke longed to spend time with his father, doing things that his friends would do with theirs. Luke always felt he was missing out and hated himself for not being the son his father wanted.
One night Luke finally realized why his father wasn't that interested in him. His father had been left to babysit Luke and his sisters. Waking up during the night, Luke heard his sisters crying and went to see what was wrong and he saw his father abusing them. Scared Luke ran back to his room.
Luke kept quiet as he was scared of what his father would do and as soon as he turned 18 Luke left home during the night and never returned. He felt guilty for leaving his sisters with his father but he didn't know what to do so he just left. He has never spoken to his mother or sisters since he left and misses them. He prays that one day they will forgive him.
